RIDE TO THRIVE POLO CLASSIC
Ride to Thrive Polo Classic
Saturday, September 25, 2021
Great Meadow, The Plains
Honorary Chair Sheila Johnson
co-hosted by Will Thomas and Sherrie Beckstead
The 2021 Polo Classic will be formatted similarly to the 2020 Polo Classic in order to preserve a fun, festive atmosphere while keeping guests safe.
Sponsorship opportunities are currently available from $2,000-$10,000 and include reserved tent or box seating. We will continue to monitor local COVID guidelines and CDC recommendations throughout the summer. If the situation continues to improve, we anticipate additional tickets will be available at the end of the summer for tailgate spots and general admission guests.
The current event format includes:
Each sponsor group will have designated, private space that allows for physical distancing.
Mask use is required whenever guests leave their private space.
Registration and auction check-out will be contactless.
Food and beverage service will be provided in each guest space, allowing guests to safely remain with their own group.
If you are unable to attend, you can support the Polo Classic from home by participating in our silent auction and/or making a donation online.
2021 Event Layout
In light of Covid-19, we are not selling individual tickets at this time. Please check back in August for individual ticket options.
If you are interested in purchasing reserved seating for multiple guests, please view our available sponsorships.
The “Ride to Thrive Polo Classic” has become a premier Northern Virginia event. We have steadily increased attendance each year and made it the largest annual fundraiser for the Northern Virginia Therapeutic Riding Program (NVTRP). Your sponsorship will help support the operations of NVTRP, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that improves the lives of children and adults with disabilities in the community.
We are now accepting items for this year’s auction. If you have a service or product that you would like to donate, please email email@example.com. Donated items from prior years include vacation getaways to Ireland, Jackson Hole and Myrtle Beach, private jet rides, tickets to the Washington International Horse Show, handcrafted jewelry, spa gift cards, and many other items! As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the face value of each item is tax deductible.
