Doing this work with like-minded people, all while giving time and energy to a great cause, makes this great fun for the entire team! LOUISE FOREMAN
Louise has been a volunteer at NVTRP since 2003, including serving on the board in several different positions, including Board Chair.
She retired from Navy Federal Credit Union as Executive Vice President, Human Resources in 2013, culminating a successful career of over 35 years. Upon retirement, she has provided consulting services and served as a university guest lecturer in the human resources field.
Louise holds a B.A. from Tulane University, a MBA from George Mason University and is a graduate of Leadership Fairfax, Inc.
Louise has a long history of community volunteering and she has served on a number of non-profit boards. She also founded and oversees the William J. Foreman Memorial Scholarship for graduating high school seniors who overcame significant adversity with priority given to those who have experienced homelessness, were in foster care and/or lacked substantial family support. Louise draws inspiration from Winston Churchill’s quote: “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.”
