Wendy has 25 years of fundraising experience in human service and community development organizations.  She has spent much of her career as the first-ever dedicated fundraising staff person for smaller organizations, where she has enjoyed the chance to build development operations from the ground up.
 
She joined NVTRP in 2012 as a contractual employee, and was then hired in early 2014 as its Development Director.  In this capacity she is responsible for the organization’s overall fundraising strategy development and implementation. 

Wendy holds a Master of Social Work degree from Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Allegheny College. 

New to horses when she joined NVTRP, she is proud to have gained basic riding proficiency thanks to the instruction of her capable colleagues!
