RIDE TO THRIVE POLO CLASSIC
Thank you to everyone who supported this year's Ride to Thrive Polo Classic! The event was a huge success - with a net income of more than $156,000 to support program operations - while complying with all safety standards and protocols for a safe, in-person fundraiser in light of COVID-19. We look forward to seeing you again next year!

2020 Polo Classic Update
The 2020 Polo Classic has been reformatted to preserve a fun, festive atmosphere while keeping guests safe. We are closely following the required and suggested best practices from Governor Northam's Forward Virginia Phase III Plan.
Changes to the event this year include:
-
Tickets are being sold to VIP Tent, Sponsor, or Tailgate groups only. Each group will have designated, private space that allows for physical distancing.
-
VIP Tents include a private 10' x 10' tent and reserved, private lawn and deck space, including chairs and movable cocktail tables.
-
Tailgates include an 8' table with linen cloth. Guests should plan to provide their own seating.
-
Sponsor seating varies and can be customized by emailing wbaird@nvtrp.org.
-
Mask use is required whenever guests leave their private space.
-
Registration and auction check-out will be contactless.
-
Food and beverage service will be provided in each guest space, allowing guests to safely remain with their own group.
-
Total attendance will not exceed 250 guests.
-
You can support the Polo Classic from home by participating in our silent auction and/or making a donation here. All donations up to $25,000 will be matched dollar-for-dollar by Jean and Ric Edelman.
2020 Layout (*UPDATED LAYOUT COMING SOON!!*)

In light of Covid-19, unfortunately we are not selling individual tickets this year but have other ticket options available for purchase. Please email polo@nvtrp.org with any questions.

The “Ride to Thrive Polo Classic” has become a premier Northern Virginia event. We have steadily increased attendance each year and made it the largest annual fundraiser for the Northern Virginia Therapeutic Riding Program (NVTRP). Your sponsorship will help support the operations of NVTRP, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that improves the lives of children and adults with disabilities in the community.

We are now accepting items for this year’s auction. If you have a service or product that you would like to donate, please email polo@nvtrp.org. Donated items from prior years include vacation getaways to Ireland, Jackson Hole and Myrtle Beach, private jet rides, tickets to the Washington International Horse Show, handcrafted jewelry, spa gift cards, and many other items! As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the face value of each item is tax deductible.
