RIDE TO THRIVE POLO CLASSIC
In light of COVID-19, NVTRP has taken multiple measures to ensure the safety of our Polo Classic guests while preserving a festive atmosphere. These include limiting the number of total guests, providing individually packaged gourmet picnics, and creating multiple 50-person sections, within the main event, each with its own bar, restroom, and designated space.

2020 Polo Classic Update
The 2020 Polo Classic has been reformatted to preserve a fun, festive atmosphere while keeping guests safe and staying compliant with Virginia's Phase II of reopening. See the map below for the general layout. Changes to the event this year include:
The event will be broken into smaller sections with no more than 50 people each and guests will remain in their designated section for the duration of the event.
Each section will include its own bar, restroom and plenty of room to spread out.
Food will be individually packaged and/or served by catering staff. There will be no open buffet.
Total guest count at the event will be reduced from previous years to allow for greater social distancing.
Due to space limitations, we are selling VIP tables, sponsorship packages and box seating through mid-August, at which point there will also be a handful of tailgate spots available which will include 10 tickets for $1,000.
No general admission tickets will be sold this year. We are planning to live stream the half-time rider demonstration, live auction, and paddle raise for those who would like to participate from home. Our silent auction will be open to everyone online the week prior to the event.
Individual tickets include all food, beverage, entertainment, parking and open seating. The Polo Classic is a family-friendly event and children 12 and under are free. For reserved seating options, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
The “Ride to Thrive Polo Classic” has become a premier Northern Virginia event. We have steadily increased attendance each year and made it the largest annual fundraiser for the Northern Virginia Therapeutic Riding Program (NVTRP). Your sponsorship will help support the operations of NVTRP, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that improves the lives of children and adults with disabilities in the community.
We are now accepting items for this year’s auction. If you have a service or product that you would like to donate, please email email@example.com. Donated items from prior years include vacation getaways to Ireland, Jackson Hole and Myrtle Beach, private jet rides, tickets to the Washington International Horse Show, handcrafted jewelry, spa gift cards, and many other items! As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the face value of each item is tax deductible.
