OLIVIA TAYLOR, PROGRAM DIRECTOR
Olivia grew up riding and leasing horses, was involved in 4H, and taught lessons at local barns and various camps. She followed her passion to St. Andrews University, a college with a renowned equestrian program, where she rode on the dressage team, majored in therapeutic horsemanship, and minored in equine business. Olivia found NVTRP while looking for an internship in 2010 and she not only interned that summer, but returned in 2011 for another internship. When she graduated in the winter of 2011 with a B.A. in Therapeutic Horsemanship, certified as a PATH Intl. Registered Instructor and a Special Olympics coach, she moved to Northern Virginia to join the NVTRP team. The program, for the first time, acquired a fourth full time staff member in Olivia.
