Team Lead Needed for Information Technology Needs Assessment and Requirements Definition

NVTRP is undertaking an effort to review and analyze its current information management systems and develop requirements for a new system. This effort will be done with a contractor and will include reviewing existing systems and processes, documenting user needs, and developing a requirements for the organization’s information sharing systems, including back office, accounting, client management and other systems. We are looking for an individual who has experience in this area and time to provide oversight to this effort.

NVTRP plans to contract with a firm (Tech Impact) to do all of the work such as conducting the assessments, holding interviews with staff and others, and developing all documentation. The individual we are seeking will oversee the project from the NVTRP side to make sure the effort is on track, meeting goals and accomplishing the contracted scope of work. 

The individual should have information technology planning and needs assessment/requirements definition experience.  We anticipate this task requiring several on-site meetings at NVTRP for such activities as sitting in on staff interviews, participating in discussions of requirements and providing input on project direction and documents developed. Much of the work can also be handled remotely, including via phone calls and off-site review of documents developed by the contractor.
